Author you’ve read the most books by
If we aren’t counting series of any kind, I’d have to say Mitch Albom. (I absolutely hate that it always tries to autocorrect Albom to Album. Like, I know what I mean, spell check, but thanks anyway.)
Best sequel ever
That’s a tough one. I mean Harry Potter just got more and more mind-blowing. So I’ll go with that.
The Perfect Girlfriend (Karen Hamilton)
Drink of choice while reading
I don’t eat or drink while I read because I can’t multitask. I will, however, have a can of Coke near by so I can take a sip break when my throat gets dry (I whisper read out loud because I’m weird.)
E-Reader or physical book
They both have merit, but I’ll always love holding a book in my hands best.
Fictional character you probably would have actually dated in high school
Probably Rhysand. Even though he would have been centuries older than me. #LoveIsNotANumber hahaha
Glad you gave this book a chance
100% the Court of Thorns and Roses series. I honestly thought I was going to hate it and I’ve become obsessed with it. So happy I’m trying to branch out to genres I don’t normally gravitate towards!
Hidden gem book
This is How it Always Is (Laurie Frankel). I had never heard of it before but found it while browsing Book Outlet and I’m so glad I got it!
Important moment in your reading life
That’s a deep one. And a long story. Maybe we’ll get into it one day …
An Anonymous Girl (Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen)
Kind of books you won’t read
There aren’t many that I won’t read. But there are a few I wouldn’t pick up unless it was really hyped up or I’ve run out of other genres. And those would be SciFi and Historical Fiction. Just not my cup of tea.
Longest book you’ve read
Maybe Breaking Dawn (Stephenie Meyer) or After We Collided (Anna Todd).
Major book hangover because of …
A Court of Mist and Fury (Sarah J. Maas)
Number of book cases you own
Currently three but I have written in my planner to pick up a new one as it’s going to be needed soon!
One book you’ve read multiple times
I honestly don’t reread books very often so my answer (surprise surprise!) is Harry Potter.
Preferred place to read
Bed. Even though I know I shouldn’t. I like to live dangerously.
Quote that inspires you
I hate that I stopped reading for fun when I had to start reading for grades in University.
Series you started and need to finish
After (Anna Todd)
Three of your all time favourite books
Yikes. That’s tricky. I’m going to say Harry Potter (yes it’s a series but I can’t choose between the seven), A Court series (see previous comment), and This is How it Always Is (Laurie Frankel)
I feel like a broken record. HP, ACOTAR.
Worst bookish habit
Buying books even though I have seven million sitting on shelves, begging to be read.
X marks the spot (book #27 on your book shelf)
With Love From the Inside (Angela Pisel)
Your last book purchase
I picked up the Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy literally three hours ago. I was just browsing, promising myself I wouldn’t buy anything when I found the box set in hardcovers and my brain turned to goo because I’ve been looking for it everywhere but all the stores said they were out of stock – even the book store I bought them at. If that isn’t the universe telling me I need a hardcover set, well sir, I honestly don’t know what it could have been otherwise.
Zzz Book that kept you wide awake
Okay for this last one I’m going to pretend it wasn’t any Harry Potter or ACOTAR books and say … Here Lies Daniel Tate (Cristin Terrill).
I’m going to need to find more unique tags because these always seem to have the same answers. But it was still fun! Let me know what your 27th book is on your shelf!
If you want to check out the post I found this tag from, check out Adventures of a Bookish Girl.
