August Mini Book Haul

My first book haul in a while. It’s just a lil’ guy, so be nice. The first two were bought new and the other four from a thrift shop.

Before I Go To Sleep (S J Watson)
Christine wakes up every day not remembering who she is. Her husband, Ben, is tasked with helping her remember her life, but her doctor is the one who guides her to a mysterious diary she’s been keeping since the accident that took her memory.

Her One Mistake (Heidi Perks)
Charlotte was supposed to watch her three kids as well as Harriet’s only daughter on the playground. She took her eyes off of them for one moment and will regret it for the rest of her life. She has to explain to Harriet how her daughter has gone missing, while all of her kids are safe and sound.

Truly Madly Guilty (Liane Moriarty)
A couple joins two others for a barbecue during a low period in their relationship. However, two months later they’re still asking themselves what if they’d never gone that day. Something has shaken up their lives forever.

The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven (Kevin & Alex Malarkey)
A true story about a father and son who get into a car accident. Kevin’s son, Alex is left in a coma after the crash and while everyone tells his father he’ll never wake up, Alex does. And he has some interesting stories to tell about his time in the coma that take place both in his hospital room and in Heaven.

Wuthering Heights (Emily Bronte)
Bought just to replace my old, tattered copy.

Beyond Belief (Jenna Miscavige Hill)
The true story about a girl growing up in Scientology, her life apart of the religion and her brave escape, thereafter.
